Since then, the group has grown to over 40 members across Central Pennsylvania and other parts of the United States. In 2005 with the passing of our first bylaws, we became the York County Black Golfers Association.
We are proud to say that we received our 501C3 designation in early 2008. Our principal working address is in the city of York and we expect our activities to have their greatest impact on disadvantaged youth in South Central Pennsylvania. As a not for profit charitable organization we hope to impact the lives of our youth in a positive manner through the YCBGA pillars: Friendship, Sportsmanship, Charity and Excellence.
