The YCBGA Memorial Golf Invitation was started to honor a beloved member of the organization, Carl Harrison, and to benefit youth golf through scholarship and golf instruction. Before his passing in 2006, Carl was the YCBGA's greatest champion, having won our individual championship in 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003, and 2005.
But perhaps more than all the trophies he won, Carl was a champion in the way he lived his life--exemplifying the ideals of the YCBGA-Friendship, Sportsmanship, Charity, and Excellence.
